Harper has been an avid reader of Regency romance novels since her aunt gave a worn copy of Georgette Heyer’s The Grand Sophy at the tender age of fourteen. When Harper traveled to England the summer after graduating college, she was captivated by the beauty of little lanes and old houses. Harper decided to devote herself to bringing the romance of Regency society and the beauty of the English countryside to readers in a fun, accessible way. She currently lives in Portland, Maine, which redeems itself for a great deal of not-being-England only through its close proximity to her family. When not reading or at her keyboard, Harper is scouring antique shops to add to her constantly growing collection of vintage tea cups or taking long walks with her highland terrier Snowy.
